Artemisian D/s is a Matriarchal structure where the House is always headed by a woman, the Matriarch Domme/Domina/Mistress. She has an Alpha Slave, who is a Domme/Miss in her own right, that is responsible for keeping order within the House. Also possible is a position of a beta slave that is selected, not for Domme training, but regarded as a highly-trained and well-made submissive, to set example for slaves/subs in training. In Artemisian D/s, there is a nouveau/progressively feminine style. Within it give and take is imperative within relationships. Domina are highly concerned with and responsible for nurturing the welfare, intellectual/personal growth and satisfaction of their slaves. Slaves of the Domina are 24/7 and supersede subs within the House. Their main concerns the lessons given by their Miss, satisfying Miss to the very best of their ability, answering to their Miss but for both always the House Matriarch's wishes first. Female slaves will have the option of training as Domme as they are deemed suited for the rank. Men can be taken as subs/slaves by Dominas in the House but will always answer to a higher ranking woman, most likely the Alpha. There are no Doms.
